IN EME, WE BELIEVE THAT STRENGTH LIES IN STORYTELLING.
We want to tell you stories and give meaning to every single garment. We see ourselves as the storytellers of a great story, and as such, we feel the need to grow our legacy.
We want to make sure we document the evolution of our heritage, and that’s why we act as if we were writing a great library filled with all our creations. That’s why we treat every season like a book, and every collection like a chapter. One day, we’ll be able to look back and “read” everything we’ve accomplished.
Our main goal is for you, as a consumer, to understand every detail of our pieces. We want you to be able to see every detail, understand what it means to us, and then give you the opportunity to assign it the meaning it transmits to you. We want to entertain, break social norms, but it’s not that we’re criminals — we simply see things differently.
THIS IS OUR WAY OF TELLING OUR STORY. JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER.
We see the creative process itself as our main source of inspiration, and we believe that fashion is also art. Our love for other artistic disciplines fuels our hunger to keep developing collections. The beauty of art is the freedom it gives the viewer to interpret each piece in their own way. Every detail tells a story, every stitch is there for a reason, and each and every detail serves a purpose. What we want is for you to understand it and appreciate it.
As for the group — which we assume is what interests you the most — we are five friends who met through pure coincidence. Friends of friends who just get each other. You start talking about something and you immediately feel the connection. We’ve all loved fashion since we were kids, and we value the same things. There are very few people with such a specific taste, and when you find one, you can tell right away...
We came together to have fun designing clothes. Life has given us one of the greatest gifts it can offer: the chance to live from our hobby. Even though sometimes it’s stressful and feels like a roller coaster… the positive clearly outweighs the negative. We don’t know if this will ever end (we hope it never does), but we want you to know that if you’re part of the family, we’ll give 100% to take care of you.
